Skeates Building Co is owned and operated by brothers, Anthony and Jonathan.
Anthony Skeates
is the lead builder and construction manager on site every day. His extensive building experience, attention to detail, and ability to lead teams of builders is second to none and delivers you the quality we are known for. Anthony has 25 years building experience, cutting his teeth as an apprentice on Villa extensions and fixing leaky buildings, before moving on to new builds and bespoke high-end bar and restaurant fit-outs. His experience also includes time as a construction manager for a large residential building company, running numerous building sites and multiple building teams.
Jonathan Skeates
project manages the builds and runs the office, he is your primary point of contact throughout the build. He will keep you up to date on project progress and assist you in the decisions you need to make through-out the build. Jonathan has a corporate background and business management degree. His experience managing business units in medium to large corporate ensures Skeates Building Co runs smoothly.
Together we run a versatile team of licenced builders with over 40 years building industry experience. Our niche is extensions, renovations, architectural new homes and bespoke commercial fit outs. True craftsmen, we deliver a high standard of excellence to the homes we build. We are committed to work with our clients to build the best possible outcome and create spaces to be enjoyed for many years to come.
Your build will have a Project Manager that works directly with you from day one until the completion of your project. Our team of qualified builders led by Anthony will get the job done smoothly and to a standard we will all be proud of.
We are members of NZ Registered Master Builders Association and have a host of management systems and processes in place that are designed to ensure you are continuously happy with your project. These optimised systems and processes keep you updated throughout the build, and help to ensure that you are delivered what you were promised on time and to budget.
